My Story
Fabric is something I've been around my whole life from watching my mom make curtains,
making my favorite dress for school to making me holiday scrub tops when I graduated from college.
The designs and endless possibilities that can be achieved with fabric have captured my soul.
Some say I'm an old soul and love the simplicities of life, working in the flower bed,
holding a paperback book, and making quilts for those in my life.

As a child I remember going to our local Salt Box and rummaging through boxes of peoples
discarded fabrics to see what we could find. So, when asked how I came up with the name Scraptacular Stitchery
it was an easy answer for me. Taking fabric scraps, end of bolt pieces or fabric that has been discarded
by someone and turning it into a quilt that is loved and cherished is pretty scraptacular in my book.
It's a reminder of the Great Potter, how we are clay upon his wheel and he's making us into a masterpiece.
My passion for quilting is something that has brought me joy, creativity and an outlet to express myself.
I always have done my own quilting and begin longarm quilting several years back. Longarm quilting
has brought my topstitching from basic designs, on my tabletop machine, to being
able to accent and compliment the quilt design and fabric.

My goal with Scraptacular Stitchery is to provide high quality longarm services to last a lifetime.
I'm currently using the Infinity Longarm by Handi Quilter with Pro-Stitcher premium.
Being able to tribute to your artisanship that you have already achieved is an honor, that I look forward to.
